It is inevitable that any thrash band originating from Brazil will be compared to legendary thrashers Sepultura, irrespective of whether any similarities exist. In the case of Chaosfear, such similarities do exist and are very real, as Chaosfear possess more than a passing resemblance to the _Arise_ era Sepultura. This is not to say they are clones; merely that this is the predominant influence, and they also incorporate more modern thrash riffs and death metal influences into their music.

The vocals are not terrible, but do tend towards the monotonous; nonetheless, their socio-political lyrics can be easily understood without the benefit of a lyric sheet. The production does an effective job and is sufficiently lucid; however, the snare drums tend to be a bit too hollow on occasion, but this is not a problem that is limited to Chaosfear. Their catchy hooks and well-arranged, if rather standard approach to songwriting has resulted in an above average debut full-length, but lacks the spark of originality needed to carry these Brazilians forward to the next level.
