Gulch - _When It Rains... It Pours_
(MowDownMusic, 2001)

It is amazing how things happen in the music business. Gulch (originally an aggressive hard rock outfit named Hostility on Century Media) have been dropped from the label and changed their name and their style. The end result is a new stoner / southern rock outfit that meshes together the sounds of Corrosion of Conformity and Queens of the Stone Age. This is not the same band I interviewed way back in CoC #6. The band has changed too much, and the commercial angle to their music, not to mention the kind of monotonous songwriting, really serves a letdown to Gulch. They've moved on, no doubt, leaving old fans at the wayside and trying hard to pick up new fans as they continue down the road.
