Win Tickets to Bloodstock
by: Jackie Smit
Summer is upon us and along with the heat, the barbeques and the nights you'll struggle to remember the following morning, it marks the start of festival season. While Germany has its Wacken, Norway has its Hole in the Sky, and France has a three-day piss-up known as Hellfest, the UK has long been crying out for an event that's a step away from the corporate shenanigans that have steadily choked the credibility out of its Download festival. Enter Bloodstock -- a three day celebration of all things metal now in its eighth year. The 2009 line-up features a host of CoC stamped and approved acts including Cradle of Filth, Carcass, Satyricon, Candlemass, Enslaved and Moonspell and will be emanating from the Catton Hall in Derbyshire on August 14, 15 and 16.

As August is CoC's birthday month, we've decided to celebrate along with our friends at The Noise Cartel by giving away a pair of tickets to what promises to be a weekend of epic metallic proportions. To enter, all you need to do is answer the following questions:

1. What is Chronicles of Chaos' birthday (year, month AND day)?

2. Name two other acts to feature Satyricon's Frost on drums.

E-mail your answers, along with your postal address to bloodstockcontest@chroniclesofchaos.com and make sure to include "BLOODSTOCK CONTEST" in your subject line. The winner will be selected at random on the 6th of August and will be notified by email.

Please note, the prize does not include travel or accommodation costs. We're generous, but not -that- generous.
