Nuclear Blast Records have confirmed July 20th as the release date for the new Nile album, entitled _Ithyphallic_. Recorded at Sound Lab Studios in Columbia, South Carolina, with Neil Kernon helming production, the album will contain, among other songs, "Language of the Shadows", "Even the Gods Must Die", "The Infinity of Stone", "Ithyphallic" and "Papyrii Containg the Spell to Preserve Its Possessor Against Attacks From He Who Is in the Water".

_Ithyphallic_ is the follow-up to _Annihilation of the Wicked_, which was released in 2005 to worldwide acclaim via Relapse Records.

It has also been confirmed that Nile will embark on a headlining tour of Australia in May, with support to come from Polish technical death metal quintet Decapitated.
